What is the Whiskerino?

Although entering the Whiskerino Contest is not mandatory for all men, growing some facial hair is. There is an option, though, but it will cost you. Men can opt to buy a Smooth Puss Badge as a way of skirting around the whisker law. But the Smooth Puss Badge is the ONLY other option. Those who defy the law risk the wrath of the Oildorado posse and Kangeroo Kourt and a trip around town in the official Oildorado Hoosegow. So beware.

This Year's Categories

Judging categories for beards are full dark, full white, full salt and pepper, full red, most unusual, best mustache, best overall beard. There also is an open division.

 

The contest will be held Sunday, Oct. 17 at 1 p.m. (location to be announced).
