Announcing the 2010 Lineup for Oildorado Air Show

This year, once again Taft will have the rare opportunity of having these great historical planes in our presence. You are being offered the opportunity to ride one of the most famous medium twin‐engine bombers of WWII. The B-25 was made famous in WWII by the Doolittle Raid of 1942 when 16 “Mitchells” launched from the USS Hornet and hours later staged the first attack of the conflict of Japan. This single and daring attack was the shot in the arm the American public needed during the early years of the war to boost morale after many successive defeats starting with Pearl Harbor and ending in the Bataan Death March. Of the many medium bombers produced by the American aircraft industry during WWII, the B-25 stands out as the most widely used, versatile and recognized.
