About Oildorado, Inc.

Oildorado is planned and carried out by an all-volunteer non-profit corporation with plenty of help from local schools, clubs, churches, and service and fraternal organizations that sponsor events and activities and raise some money to boot. Oildorado, Inc. coordinates the many activities that make up the celebration and raises funds for the next event.

An eight-member Executive Board of Directors oversees the workings of a Board of Directors and Community Liaisons responsible for planning events sponsored directly by Oildorado, Inc. and coordinating activities of other organizations. Simply put, it takes an entire town working together to put on something as big and fun-filled as Taft Oildorado Days.
